MDIS's ok. It depends on which course that you are interested to study in. Some courses, like for example Diploma full-timers, take about less than a year to complete.

1. To apply for the courses, pls contact MDIS for more infos. http://www.mdis.edu.sg/contact/index.php

2. You may check out http://www.mdis.edu.sg/academic-prog...isciplines.php for the various courses that they have. Each courses come with a different criteria. If you are not too sure, as usual, email/call them.

3. Yes, MDIS is a private school.

It may be possible for SIM, SMU..
NTU and NUS is definitely impossible.
Govt. school is usually tough for poly/jc students to get in already.
Private diploma grads are even tougher.

Pls check with the various university that you are interested in whether they accept MDIS certs.

Hope I've clear most of your doubts.

I'm currently studying in MDIS.
I think if you want a faster alternative in getting a diploma then you can choose MDIS.
If you got time I think should go try out other schools like poly or NAFA
My diploma course took about 8 months to complete then currently studying for adv. dip started in October and this coming week is my last week of lessons. YIPEE!

Actually I think if you want to apply you can just go down to either the Queenstown campus or the one at Dhoby Ghaut to enroll.
If I'm not wrong you just need 5 O level credits for the diploma courses.

But now MDIS has raised the school fees so it's pretty expensive. ):

Not sure about the 'O' level criteria since I went in after my 'A's.

It's accelerated learning, that's one thing. Also after getting a diploma, you have the option of going for the degree program (which is pretty ideal since then you won't need to apply to other schools with possibility of being rejected, to complete the same degree).

The headquarters is in Eunos. The unicampus is pretty out of the way, but it's decent and sports good facilities and equipment. The only gripe I have is the inefficiency and (occasionally) sheer idiocy of the Student Services Center.

With regards to how to apply for courses, you can go online or to the school itself. I learnt more about MDIS and the course I was keen on via the schoolfair exhibition thingy.
