MDA and Tokyo Broadcasting System organise animation competition

SINGAPORE : Animation enthusiasts now have an extra avenue to be discovered. The annual digital content competition Digicon 6+3 is on.

The Media Development Authority is calling for entries for the Singapore leg of this Asian contest.

Those interested can submit original works like 2D or 3D computer graphic animation, or live action films shot and edited using digital movie equipment.

Applications close on July 3.

Winners stand to win a $2,000 grand prize, as well as a paid trip to the competition's main award ceremony in Japan on September 29.

The Awards ceremony for the Singapore leg, which is organised by MDA and the Tokyo Broadcasting System, will be held on July 15. - CNA/ch
