im quite a fan of this car: Mazda Rx-7 FD3S ever since i was old enough to play racing car games in arcades. even though i no longer go arcades anymore, i wish i can own it once i get a driver's license.

does any1 noe anything abt gettin it in Singapore?
isit practical to get it in Singapore?
i heard the engine heats up pretty fast even though the specs still beat the RX8 is it true?
do they still sell it in Singapore?
prices?

in the history of Mazda there has been 4 Rx7s im talking abt the FD3S haha.

not recommend...
1) rd tax is high
2) every 5 yr need go Vicom check coz its an old car (if i not wrong)
3) rotar engine eats more syn oil aka engine oil
4) fuel consumption like hell

if u are a car collector, yes it is worth to get it. cos is very rare and will make ppl drooling over it. but after getting it, here comes the problem, can u support it? u have to go for service alot of times to keep it tip-top condition. and dont forget the fuel will burn ur pocket badly.

no lah. maybe u dont know. lol.

most of the mazda Rx7 and Rx8 are 1.3L only. their road tax are cheap.
other than that, everything are expensive.

but can u imagine, 1.3L only. and can produce 200+bhp. haha.

but heard rx8 eat the engine oil very fast right ... like need to maintain regularly .... actually i tot of getting an steptronic version ... but then heard this pcs of news i abit on second tots ....

seriously ... quite like the shape ... but there's a whole new car tht caught my eye ... the Honda civic Type R ... LOLX =D quite cool ....

ya.. all high performance car drink petrol alot.. subaru WRX/STi, Evo, Skyline RX7/8 etc.... they drink alot and if u often drive them around, u need to go service regularly to maintian them.. seriously, is not wise to get a stepronics gear box... cause they cost alot if they are spoilt... i would rather get manual...

yeah honda civic type R is just nice. w/o modd it look sporty already. but the price and road tax will be abit high. haha.

If you want a budget pocket rocket,my opinion is you get a Suzuki Swift MegaSports. Original Factory Fitting with bodykit, inclusive of a carbon fibre front lip splitter(whatever the name,the carbon fibre on the front lip). It also come with Recaro front seats, fog lights, sport meters & Sparco(or Momo? Can't recall) steering wheel although it has the Suzuki logo on it.

All of these comes with a not so horrible price tag of plus minus $60K to $65K. 143HP for such a light body hatchback can be fast. There is also a variety of aftermarket parts to choose from. The smoked Altezza taillight from Mcwell Venture is gorgeous. Performance tuning parts are also easily available because of the rally pedigree of this car.

ya is quite cheap in the market now. reliable ah, so far didnt hear there's any problem on this car.. ya is small... slightly small then my ride... but is a powerful car for a small hatchback..
