MK is incredibly fun to play online on the wii.

However I was disappointed it did not have some features MK had from the PS1 version.
here are some of those features;
1- every character has his own unique kart.
2- every kart has different specialty and weapons (excluding the pick up weapons), according to their track.
3- when you win a race, you get to pick 1 part of your opponent's kart (i.e tires, engine, etc.)
4- which you can latter use interchangeably for other races

These features gave depth to the game on PS1.

Also later on PS1, they released Chocobo Racing. Brilliant mario-kart-like game. Hope they will develop that on the wii soon... with more depth this time.

but from wat i know..it was never released on ps1. unless you not refering to Mario Kart.
