The nominees so far are Sammy Lee, Avram Grant, Martin Jol.
Outside chances for the chop are Billy Davies (Derby County), Steve Coppell (Reading) and Lawrie Sanchez (Fulham)

AND the winner is..... my pick of the bunch is Sammy "No idea" Lee.

Grant is Roman's buddy, wont kena sack 1 he'll go back to his director of football when Chelsea gets a new manager.

I think Jol's bomb will go off after the trip to Anfield cause after that is international wk, just nice enough time for the board to find a new manager.

Martin Jol's team was lucky to draw 4-4 after going down at one stage 3-1 or 4-1. Spurs should have been dead and buried by then.

Luckily Defoe played well and eventually help them to secured a 4-4 draw.

If Spurs had lost 4-1, Jol could have laready said "bye bye" to his career at Spurs.

I guess now he is just having a stay of execution. I doubt that it will not be long before the axe falls on his head.

Spurs drew their UEFA Cup tie with "what-the-hell-is" Larissa. Haha, Robbie Keane hits a late goal to save Jol's job. How long more will he last. Looks like he is depending on late goals to salvage a draw and his job as well.

Eh, Larissa is Everton's opponent. Spurs 1 is Anorthosis, the results not impt for them cause they won 6-1 at White Hart Lane already. Gd to see Jol starting Defoe again which means he probably wont feature against Liverpool.

Liverpool has just lost unexpectedly at home to an off form French team.

Rafa's policy of squad rotation had back fired on him, will it back fire on him again this weekend?

For a good friend who is a Liverpool fanatic who NEVERS miss a "live" game when Liverpool is playing, I hope not! But from the point of an Arsenal supporter, I hope that Liverpool would drop more points. :biggrin4:

JM are likely to be the one if they lose another game. Benitz may also be in danger if they continue to have the draw lose kind of situation.

Small SAM are the most likely beside JM to be the next manager to be shown the door.

Former Liverpool midfielder Sammy Lee has left his post as manager of Bolton Wanderers by mutual consent.

The 48-year-old took over from the departing Sam Allardyce at the end of last season but has since struggled to live up to expectations at the Reebok Stadium, with the Trotters currently languishing in 19th place at the bottom of the Premier League table.

Bolton's general manager Frank McParland has also left the club.

"This has been a difficult decision for all parties but we have agreed the time is right," Bolton chairman Phil Gartside told his club's website.

Heard that Paul Jewel will be officially unveiled as their new manager on monday.

Paul also very smart cos he did not want to be the manager when Bolton visit The Emirates Stadium where they are expected to be slaughter by the Gunners.:biggrin4:

the next to be sacked manager will most likely be Martin Jol.

spurs are supposed to be fighting for european places, not fighting against relagation.

furthermore, spurs has been linked with sevilla coach ramos recently. he seems to be the man to replace martin jol if spurs continue to perform poorly.
