well if it is from singapore,i recommmend grassland.

If you wish to get a coach from malaysia side, you could alway go over to JB,go to merlin tower.Search for merlin tower here. From this place, they have quite alot of coach booking service and the price for a coach up to kl or genting is about half price for what you paid for if getting a coach from singapore but of course the quality of the coach is not that great.

http://www.streetdirectory.com/malaysia/johor/

Hotel booking, try to google for kuala lumpur hotels or genting hotels should give you a list of website where you can view the availabity of rooms in different hotels

5 star bus very boring.. transtar at least still got tv to watch.

is grassland coach bigger than 5 star?

the other time i took 5 star coach to KL, the seat are very big but when i take the coach back, the seats are damn small & dusty.

it was as bad that i was having runny nose throughout the whole journey back.

How is the rate for grassland, WTS and Seiki??

Ya.. That's the thing about 5 stars!

I top up some $$$ for better bus this time...
at least i got a better bus for both to & return trip.
**perhaps i was making some noise about the problem while i book, that's why i got better bus back**

Didn't know grassland is like that.

If i am not wrong, Konsortium is the same company as 5 stars

Tried aeroline before.
Basically not bad, but find it quite ex.

Pick up point is at Waterfront Hotel. Drop point is at Corus Hotel.
And vice visa.

Corus Hotel is only about 5 minutes walk to the train station and KLCC. Quite inconvenient. I felt just so-so.
From RM179.00++ per room per night now during promo
http://www.corushotelkl.com/

I ever tried to taking a bus from SG and get a return bus ticket from Prutu Raya Bus Station. Of cos, don't do it last minute cos there may be a risk of unable to get a ticket.

So far, tried few coaches, grassland is good if you are willing to pay more, 5 star coaches are better if you compare the same grade with grassland and find that 5 stars bus drive faster.

I usually go by Grassland, but these recent years did not go already, already get tired of that place.

to go to KL, i suggest aeroline. it departs from harbourfront, and arrives at corus hotel (where you can stay at). it is opposite KLCC, so it's very convenient.

there's another coach that departs from novena square. it's called firstcoach. i've not tried it. i think it arrives at bangsar in KL.

Hi, if you are looking for budget, you can take 170 to Larkin Bus interchange and take bus from there. The bus fare there are so so so much cheaper than Singapore. Quality Wise, it's aveerage SBS Air con bus standard (minus TV mobile) :biggrin4:
