SINGAPORE: More Singaporeans can now make their New Year wishes as part of the Marina Bay Countdown.

Members of the public can write them on white spheres measuring 18, 27 and 36 inches in diameter.
These spheres will be floated down the Marina Bay waters from mid-December.

5,000 spheres will be released this year – double the number from last year.

The wishing stations are located at the Esplanade Mall and at shopping centres like
Causeway Point, Compasspoint, Northpoint and Centrepoint.

The organisers say they want to attract as many people as they can to write down their heartfelt hopes
and dreams for the coming year.

The wishing stations will be open till 17th December.
