i got a small phobia of hearing scrotchtape being tear, due to constant torture of hearing them at my workplace. dun feel like being interviewed though, depressed now. gd luck though.

i have a phobia of lifts.. especially high-speed ones..

for normal lift, i am afraid when it is going down.. i will start to get nervous and keep having this feeling of falling when the lift is moving down (err.. understand what i mean?) my ears get blocked and my legs become shaky..

for high speed lift, i am afraid of both going up and down.. my heart will feel like it's at my throat. i get very paranoid and don't dare to look anywhere but the floor.

this is due to a bad incident which happened to me when i boarded a unstable high speed lift few years ago and it keep going up and down cos more people keep coming into the lift and they pressed all the different stories.. so i guess the lift wasn't a really gd one, cos it doesn't go in one direction, instead it will go up and pick people then go down to pick people then go up again when someone at the higher floor press for the lift

i was stuck in the lift for like 2-3 mins and all the while, the lift was very shaky.. i got so scared and giddy that i nearly squat down and cry..

Ah, I see. Well, although it is standard, I am still going to use it because it fits as to how phobias often arise from situations that the person encountered.
