to me midfielder liverpool can leh, no need to buy barry... onli need defender n 2nd choice striker TO BE MUCH BETA!

mash : gd tackler! Run across u n there goes ur ball!
Gerrard: gd ball distributor... a very TOK KONG,EXCELLENT PLAYER!
Babel: Quite performing, but will be much beta in forward position.
alonso: A great player, but nt as gd as gerrard...

so i dun see the need to change any1 from the frist team in the midfielders.... really...

n y liverpool dun put 4-3-3 wif babel, torres n crouch?

Peter Crouch really doesn't deserve to be on the bench... really i am serious! His performace is quite well this season... i rather liverpool sell kuyt.... i REALLY DUN LIKE HIM n he seldom perform... really, he shld be in the bench, not peter CROUCH!

If rafa continue placing him on the bench, i seriously rather him to leave.... cuz he will have a brighter future in other clubs frist team, i suppose....

To be? or not to be? this a the question! DUH!!!

A 4-4-2 wif Torres and Crouch up front is possible but 4-3-3, then only either 1 of them can play wif Babel on e left flank, Torres on e right is a waste cuz he is fast and good at runnin behind the defence, as for Crouch, he can only play 1 position and that is up front.

I'll tk 15M over Crouch, Rafa very clever he knw many mid table clubs are interested in Crouch so slam a high price tag, i believe the Reds can get 12M at least from the deal..

Kuyt should leave but Benitez like hardworking players -_-

Forwards: Ryan Babel (Liverpool), Klaas Jan Huntelaar (Ajax Amsterdam), Danny Koevermans (PSV Eindhoven), Dirk Kuyt (Liverpool), Ruud van Nistelrooy (Real Madrid), Robin van Persie (Arsenal), Arjen Robben (Real Madrid), Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink (Celtic).

Will he get into the final squad for Euro 08? if i am the coach he'll definitely be watching it at home.

Wah, you guys are whipping up a great discussion man!

It is quite clear now that Crouch will probably be leaving the Reds. Benitez has finally said that Crouch wants to play every game and that he has other ideas. He's even put a 15m pounds price tag on him already. So, barring no club interesting enough to Crouch himself willing to offer something near to 15m, we can take Crouch away from the endless juggling of our team's formation.

Benitez also confirmed that Kewell can go for free (most football people are rather poor financial managers) and he is open to selling Riise.

This also implies that selling Kyut, Alonso, Pennant or even Voronin (urrgh!) is not on his mind .. yet. I will not join in the best formation discussion. I still think we need another proven scorer and I am not fussy about whether he is a striker, winger or midfielder. Barry is not a goal scorer and I feel he is not necessary. Martin O'Neil will probably tell him so and that he will probably end up frustrated sitting on the Liverpool bench waiting for Mascherano and/or Alonso to be injured and also fending off the challenge of Plessis.

Btw, I think Plessis is not quite ready to play regularly in the EPL yet but should feature more next season. However, I am more impressed by Insua. He could be the answer to the left side of our defence.

Our postings probably crossed paths in cyberspace!

It will be a good profit at 12m and I think Portsmouth will probably get him, especially if they win the FA cup.

Sad to agree with you about Kyut and the Dutch Euro 08 squad .. but will be looking forward to watching Babel play.

How come u all alwys miss out on Lucas when discussing abt the midfielders, he is e 4th choice at the moment leh.

Eh, i saw e highlights between the reserves against Villa in e final, must say El Zhar really quite talent, Peanant can leave le, Got 2 players in orange boots also quite gd, shld be able to see them feature for e senior side in e near future.

Lucas not bad, for his age...he's willing to try for long shot, that shows he has confidence (& rmb e overhead kick during lvp vs man city match)....he just needs more experience....Kuyt is alright what, he's a versatile striker...the only bad thing is he cant finish off, two clear chances during e match against man city...haizzz
im glad crouch is gonna go, for 12M-15M...gd deal =)

Reason why I didn't mention Lucas was because it is not fair to judge him in his first season. Hope he adapts better next season and move faster. I was disappointed that despite quite a number of EPL games, he still looked scared, lost the ball cheaply alot and then (like Alonso, interestingly) charged back at those players and fouling them.

Anyway, more rumours/gossips from the BBC :

Liverpool have knocked back a £25m bid for captain Steven Gerrard from Inter Milan. (The Sun)

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has hit back at comments from Aston Villa counterpart Martin O'Neill over a bid for Gareth Barry by saying the pair spoke about it 20 days ago. (The Daily Mirror)

Liverpool striker Peter Crouch is angry at the club's £15m valuation of him. (The Sun)

Reds boss Rafael Benitez could use any money from Crouch leaving to land Seville midfielder Seydou Keita. (The Sun)

Crouch doesn't seem too confident of himself. He should take pride that RB thinks he is worth that much instead of thinking that nobody will want him at that price.

actually most of the fault should go to the owners... coz is the owners tat gif rafa money to spend, come to think of it, it must be the owners tat gif rafa not enough money to spend tats y gt to sell crouch for 15m correct? seriously, if im rafa i iwll leave lvpl le.. the owners r so limited.. and becoz of rafa achivements he can easily get a top club out dere to manage..
