Spurs rich leh, buy Modric for 16+M, Dos Santos now still want David Villa, e difference between Carslberg & Mansion.
But i dont think Benitez will sign Villa, can't fit into his preferred formation. Can aim Schweinsteiger mah his contract left 1 year only, so far Germans seem to do well with the club also, Hamann and Babbel. I remember after the 2002 world cup, everybody was signing up Turkish and Korean players; then after the 2004 Euro, everybody was going Greek! so now ... Russian will be the craze!
Personally I don't think David Villa is right for us - he looks like one of those glory seekers who wants to hog the limelight. Perhaps that's why his team is not doing so well in La Liga. Liverpool always go for team players - if they have great skills (like Torres), then it's a BONUS! |

I'm more and more convinced that a successful team doesn't need many superstars : one or two + 9 or 10 highly motivated (reasonably) good players = winners!
These days, big name "superstars" are bought more for marketing reasons. Also, 'instant' has become an essential criteria : instant coffee/tea, noodles etc.. So, no time to groom youngsters .. the manager will be sacked half-way through the development programme for taking too long. So, buy .. buy .. buy!! |

Maybe Benayoun or Leiva play in front of them. So Gerrard officially play in wing.... This is what I gather Rafa strategy he want G to play free role in wing and drop down to support the striker.
My 2 cents only, i just have Pro Championship Manager license To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |
