Once he is tricked, he cannot recover - poor thing because he used to be so so good! The other lao ah pei is ... believe it or not but judging from the Boro's second goal .. Steve Finnan.
Anyway, glad they won but can they survive Bolton away? |

I think Arbeloa is supposed to replace Finnan when the time comes (very soon liao) while Agger has already replaced Hyppia (unfortunately he's badly injured this season). Obviously, Skrtel is bought to gradually replace Carra. So, as far as phasing out the lao ah pei is concerned, looks like Rafa already has a plan in place.
I still think it is a matter of getting the players to be technically strong, ease the rotation and the players will become more consistent. |

But credit to Downing really, perfect first touch that left Benayoun no chance to recover and then hitting thru the legs of Reina, sometimes i wonder why did he sign a new 5 yrs contract wif Boro.
I think we can win at Bolton, they are not the same as the previous seasons when Big Sam was in charge, and i bet they are dreaming about European glory now. Maybe another hat trick from El Nino? =X To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

Talking about running back fast, I really admire the work-rate of Mascherano. People say Kyut works hard but Masch is like everywhere man. He supports the attack, he gets the ball in the middle and he runs back to make timely tackles in defence. Are Argentinian players all like that? Maybe that's why they are such a powerful national team!
Wah, you're very optimistic. I've had enough of Liverpool's erratic domestic season - I just hope they win : 1-0 enough and the goal can come from whoever! Seriously, Torres seems to have problem playing two great games in a row. I tip either Babel or Benayoun to score .. provided they are selected to play lah. |

Moreover, Everton just beat Man City - I was hoping that Man City will do us a favour but it seems that the players' minds were still on holiday! Even if we can do well against Mancs and Arsenal, we probably won't be able to overtake them.
If Benitez is shrewd like Singaporean/Malaysian businessmen, then play very defensively against those two, pack the defence etc..
We have to play the "best team" if we are to beat Everton. It's a local derby, they are bent on revenge, and 4th place is at stake - wah, if like that Benitez also cannot understand, then .... |

Agger is back with the Reserves as the Reds beat Man Utd Reserves 2-0, goals coming from Alonso (pen) and Kewell. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

Hopefully everything's alright with Agger and he can resume his role at the heart of the Reds' defence - that will be a huge boost going into the last lap of the season!
If the Reds can pull up their socks and beat Bolton this weekend, it will do their confidence a world of good. By the way, I am just hoping not predicting - unlike some jokerexpert in another thread who made predictions for all of last weekend's matches. Maybe he's playing the soccer pools and just wanted to mislead everyone so that he can win big! |

Total SGC$: 1,664.41 | Re: Liverpool FC - The Reds Eh i think we need to get some results at Emirates and OT. Since Rafa came, the team isn't doing well against the other big teams in the domestic league. As for the 4th spot, if we win our game in hand 2 wks later at home to West Ham we will be 3 pts ahead of the Toffees, if we continue winning the remaining matches, den dun need to worry abt finishing 4th le.
