definitely....we have at least a cover for all the position...
and there are some young players from our youth team coming-up...
presently, the centre-half position needs some attention....

I don't think he'll be sack just after a season if Liverpool doesn't win the league la and he really didn't spend that much la, sold quite a number of players to cover abit of the amount spent mah.

Ins:
Torres - 20.5M ( After excluding Luis Garcia 5.5M)
Babel - 11.5M
Benayoun - 5M
Lucus - 4M
Leto - 1.75M
Voronin - Free

Outs:
Bellamy - 7.5M
Cisse - 6M
Pongolle - 2.7M
M. Gonzalez - 3.5M

We only spent slight more then 20M for this transfer window, u compare that with wad Chelsea and Utd spent for e past 3 seasons it really isn't too much.

A draw was probably e right result, Torres and Gerrard came in but too little time for them to make any real impact. Crouch was awful IMHO.

It is 1 pt gain compare to last season but i'm abit disappointed. Let's look forward to midwk game away to FC Porto.

Rafa made a few changes, maybe due to so many players just returned from international duties and there is a midweek CL games.
So he rotates the squad and let some players rest lor.
Crouch, Voronin, Benayoun and Sissoko were in the starting 11.
Not a very good performance from Crouch n Benayoun...

Hope to see a good performance in the CL game

Cheers,
Vinson

that should not be a penalty.
most of the time, you saw this type of little action by a defender but most referee will not give a penalty...
this season, it seems that a lot of decision is going against Liverpool.
so far, already 3 penalties been given against Liverpool.
all of them are poor decision by the referees....

Cheers,
Vinson

I still think we need to strengthen our right back position, something we have not done at all since rubbish signings like Josemi and Kromkamp. Stevie Finnan, as consistent as he is, is not getting any younger. We need an able back up for his position.

Lydat we need a centre back too, Carra abt same age as Finnan, actually i can see Richards joining us in abt 2,3 seasons time. =X
