I suppose true Liverpool supporters the world over should do the same - yeah, not so good this season but we'll be back.
In fact, there is a tremendous organized effort for the fans to buy over the club from the yankees. The organizers are targeting 100,000 fans worldwide each investing an average of 5,000 pounds to take over the club AND build the new stadium!
It seems even Barcelona is owned in this way. Very interesting indeed! The Liverpool organizers are not leaving out supporters from East Asia either! |

I think this is a good idea for Liverpool to be the first english club to be run in this manner, after all they are the people's club. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

Lucas was awful, poor move by Rafa to play him on the left.
I think it is e first time i even see Finnan playing on the left, a very tactical move indeed =X
Can see e confidence on Crouch face when he scored.
The MOTM was probably Crouch but for me i'll give it to Hyypia, he was the only player who play up to his standard thru out the 90mins. Skrtel had a good game as well.
What's next? Let's end tear down London Bridge. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

He is the man who broke the strangehold of the Primeria Liga by Barcelona and Real Madrid with Valencia.
That is why Liverpool got him in the first place, to break the monopoly of EPL by Man Utd and Arsenal.
Expect a stronger response by Liverpool in the closing weeks. |

However, we are still better than Everton and the rest over 38 games. 4th place is a realistic aim now. We'll need plenty more 'hiccups' from the top 3 if we are to finish higher this season.
The way I see it, Liverpool just don't know what to do when they reach their opponents' penalty area. Actually, I didn't understand why Benitez replaced Aurelio with Finnan. I felt the new-look full backs were playing well. I would have preferred Agger to be playing alongside Hyppia, but Skrtel was noticeably calmer and better in this game and did a good job. I would have replaced Lucas with Babel right at the interval, but Benayoun was still better than the off-form Lucas.
I don't mean to deflate everyone's hopes, but realistically Sunderland is not an accurate gauge to say that Liverpool is back in form .. yet. |

If we play like the first half against Sunderland we are going to get thrash but if we play like how we did at Anfield earlier this season then we might get sth out of the game. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

I also hope that Benitez will field the same team against Chelski. Classy players like Lucas seldom have two consecutive off-games, but then somebody else may be off-form. That's when the coach earns his keep - he must analyse quickly and decide swiftly on a substitution.
Delardino, there are alot of rumours flying out there that Alonso's days as a Red are numbered. I know you hate to hear that but the majority of fans think that apart from his first season, he has been too inconsistent. To me, he came back really flat after the 2006 world cup. Gerrard did too, but he recovered his form. I've been hoping that Alonso would regain his old form, but people are already talking about Barca and Madrid wanting him and that he can sold for 20m etc..
Some of the players' form are also reflected by their omission from their national teams : Kyut out of the Dutch team and Kewell out of the Australian. Is Alonso in the Spanish squad? |

I don't think he will be sold because Benitez wants 4 CMs and he got 4 now if Alonso goes off then he'll need to sign another 1. Anyway he should be back in the line up this sunday i guess if not something is really wrong. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. The problem is we are unsure of the yanks' financial situation. They could have told Benitez that he can only buy Mascherano if he sells somebody!
Anyway, there will always be rumours flying around a team that underperforms. Once the Reds get a good run of 6 to 8 matches together, the rumours will gradually fade ... so it's all about winning games and results - if a team cannot do that, there will be trouble upon trouble, some real and some virtual/imagined! |

I think results is more impt then performance for this game cause it is the only option to bring back the confidence, if play well and lose everybody will just be more disappointed. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

But for teams like Derby or Middlesbrough or Reading, I would prefer a win even if it's ugly cause these are the points which shouldn't be dropped. Haha. But for now, Liverpool need the results.. can't afford anymore dropped points. So even if it's a poor display, I'll take the points. |
