Carlings cup is the least priority for the big 4 even if the winner is gurantee a UEFA place next season.

When i saw e line up Cech starting instead of Cudcini, it really shows how much they value the cup, but couldn't blame them though, they were a mid table team all e while until Roman took over then they are called the Big 4.

Before Roman took over, they were a decent side but would not have been able to win the league and probably JT and FL would have already left for a bigger club by now if Roman did not took over and brought success with his bottomless wallet. Last time you hardly hear about Chelsea fans and see them wearing their jersey in the streets.

Last time was the Big 3. Now it is the big 4. Would we see a big 5 or 6 in future?

Pompey cannot lah, their real test come when many of their African players go for international duties in Jan. Our next opponent as well, drew at Fratton Park at the beginning of season but i think this time they no place to run already. =X

Liverpool really have to do well in this one or else they will be locked in another slump! which is terrible timing!!

Carling cup gone - what to do but never mind lah. Got to keep those chins up and aim for greater consistency because there are three more big trophies to play for!

Ya lor, it is a must win game, but lucky our next opponent is away to Derby so this game, Benitez can send full force out, not disrespecting the Rams but anybody will have the game of their season against them.

I'll be very happy if they can turn this mini-losing-streak around by winning 0-2. It will re-instil confidence in the players .. and get us three points to keep up!

The most realistic cup for Liverpool to aim for now is the FA Cup. EPL might just prove to be beyond their reach this season. They are 10 pts behind leaders Arsenal although they have a game in hand over the rest but never count your chicken before they have hatched. And honestely I don't see Liverpool having that type of consistency to win it. AS for CL, it depends who they meet. Pool is a good cup team but not consistent enough for EPL title at least not this season.

Derby County is like a shooting match for most of their opponents this season and at the end of this season, they will definitely going back to the Championship.

Portmouth has came off a home defeat against Spurs. They can be either dismoralised or fire up to win at least a point at Anfield. This could be tricky for Pool.

I wonder why the commentator say that was the best performance at Anfield this season, i think the team can play better but nevertheless it was a convincing scoreline.

Anyone notice that Gerrard is playing quite deep nowadays?
