The match ended in a 1-1 draw leaving both teams undefeated so far in the EPL this season.
I was quite surprised that Rafa fielded 3 strikers. Torres was not match fit and had to be taken off at HT.
Honestly, not bias as an Arsenal's supporter but I feel that Arsenal were more hungrier and were the better team especially in the 2nd half. Arsenal deserved to have won the game especially when the 2 attempts that hit the upright and bounced into the path of an unmarked Arsenal players, both times we missed the targets. I guess if you can't score from this type of chance then you don't deserve to win. :cry3:
Pool after scoring the early goal was playing defensively for most of the game and only had a go in teh 2nd half especially after conceding the equaliser. Arsenal was attacking and I was never in doubt that we will come back into the game.
Jamie Carragher was lucky not to have conceded a penalty when he pulled Fabregas down in the box. Replay clearly show that he tuck Fabregas' jersey. Last week he pulled an Everton player in the same manner and honestly last week the not given penalty was more clearcut. He seems to have the habit of "wrestling" and "pulling" down opponents in his own box, one day the referee will surely spot it.:biggrin4: Guess lady luck is still smiling at Pool.
We had passed the first of the 2 test, next week will be another thriller when we host Man Utd. :devil2: เพื่อนสนิท - Peuan Sanit - ดูมัส - Doo Mat |

From the start putting Kuyt and Voronin wide out is the biggest mistake, it's just like how Shevchenko can't play to his best at Chelsea, Babel and Benayoun defeinitely are better players in that positions. And why start Torres when he clearly wasn't match fit? To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

His game plan was to make Arsenal's defence as b-z as possible so that Clichy and Sagnas were to b-z dealing with Kuyt and Voronin therefore would hardly have time to support the attack.
After scoring the goal, Pool was playing defensively protecting its lead rather then go and look for the killer 2nd goal.
Torres is not match fit and he shows lack of match practise as well. Crouch gave a good account of himself and caused much problem with his height after he came on. เพื่อนสนิท - Peuan Sanit - ดูมัส - Doo Mat |

The Arbeloa switch was a bad 1 as well, can't believe how he let Cesc find space to run into e box.
Both maintain their unbeaten run in e league, probably a fair result. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

Peter "Frankenstein" Crouch did caused us problems with his height when he came on and nearly scored twice. One was superbly saved by the keeper and the 2nd one was just off target.
Honestly, not being bias being an Arsenal fan, Arsenal should have won. There was that Jamie Carragher's tucked on Fabregas' jersey in the box which could have lead to a penalty and the 2 clear chances when shots at goal resulted it hitting the upright and into the path of unmarked Arsenal players who ballooned the ball. However, if Arsenal missed chances like that then they don't deserved to win cos chances are rare in these type of game. เพื่อนสนิท - Peuan Sanit - ดูมัส - Doo Mat |

Total SGC$: 1,279.43 | Re: Liverpool don't deserve it i duno wat is happening to rafa lah.. put arbeloa switch in the 2nd half was a wrong one.. i have no comments on the starting line up which field 3 strikers up front.. but instead of puting arbeloa in the 2nd half, i would rather put babel for alonso.. after arbeloa came on, he was outplayed most of the time.. for the alonso and torres starting in the line up, i have no comments on alonso starting.. coz i think he played well in the first half, for the torres starting, i would rather rafa field crouch instead.. look at how crouch played in the 2nd half? he was amazing man! if let him play in the first half also, let me tell u all tat he would have scored! but overall for the reds, dey got a draw and im more den happy.. coz b 4 the game i was not expecting liverpool to win.. but i wanted dem to draw at least.. and dey acheived tat.. im more den happy.. LIVERPOOL all the way! hope dey win the next CL game..:biggrin4: |

Arsenal had hit the upright twice and it either shots was a couple of inches to the left of the upright, it would have resulted in a goal and probably all 3 points for Arsenal. Arsenal was also the team doing the more attacking.
Most people will see it as 2 points loss rather than a point gain for Arsenal. เพื่อนสนิท - Peuan Sanit - ดูมัส - Doo Mat |
