Most people feel no one understands them. I don't really care about this, but Jackie complains to me. “Your thought changes too quick; nobody can catch you.” I don't know why I am like this. This trait of mine helps me learn things quick, but also scared people; Alex's family scared that a young girl could oversee their business without being taught. Kenny scared that his English-illiterate girlfriend could go along with foreigners better than he did. Is that wrong? No, they are all right, but me.

Do you like gambling? I don’t gamble money, but I bet on my life. When I was young, I always doubted why my mum stood in the same place even though she knew everyone was unhappy in that situation. If she had made other choices, she could have had 50/50 chance to win her happiness, right? Why not she hadn't betted on it. As growing up, I learnt most women would do the same thing as she did. I criticize their stupid decision, but I respect their brave because I saw how hard it was. I went with two guys who loved me more than I did to them because of her. I decisively cut off these two unfortunate relationships because of her. The fear of following in her footsteps and my versatility draw my relationship pattern.

A friend asked me to describe myself last night. Looking at screen, I did not know what to write. His question helped me to realize although I did not make the same mistake as my mum did, I am repeating my own mistake. There is no 50/50 chance, but 0/100 option, a zero-sum game. If I stayed with Alex, I would learn how to deal with his arriviste family. If I didn’t leave Kenny, I would enjoy in our DINK family. However, If I chose either of them, I wouldn’t go to New York, wouldn’t come to London and wouldn’t be me. "How far you can look back, how far you will go forward." I accept my mistake, but I have to amend it. Playing this chess (my life), I want to check it.
