anyway, musicroxster, hello~~~~ |

haha thanks for the face
haha sorry it seems our shooting are totally different...
first of all, i shoot from at least 50m, to 500m...
secondly, i shoot in both closed terrain and open terrain; wind, rain, sunlight can affect your shooting in the latter...
thirdly, i don't normally shoot in standing position haha... i'm normally flat on the ground while shooting...
but do you do moving targets? is your weapon heavy?

okok... i'm sure proning position will be the best shooting position... the position with the most stability...
damn the moving targets are really difficult... then you still got to take into consideration the wind direction, sunlight blah blah blah...
how's the recoil of the air rifle? anyone tried air pistol?

'cos it's like, you shake shake shake shake shake... and maybe because my master eye is right but i'm using left hand, so it's very hard to make my shooting perfect.
there are two types of moving targets: indoor (called moving target) and outdoor (called skeed). indoor is equally hard because the moving targets overlap (so if shot wrongly, will kenah some other target instead). outdoor, you need to take note of the sunlight, the wind, the speed of the skeed etc.
and by recoil, you mean the jerk when you shoot out? |

sar21, m16s1 recoil very little... but ssg69 quite fierce! had aches below my shoulder for days haha...
skeed is what? the flying thing? disc is it?
haha i have problems with normal moving target, not to mention overlapping... luckily there wasn't over lapping targets for my training...

Total SGC$: 20,464.91 | Re: LEFT HANDERS club :D recoil is dependent on the weight of your weapon. the lighter it is, the higher the recoil. also, for air rifle, it is dependent on your posture, and how you place your weapon against your body (the rifle is suppose to be like a part of your body). for me, i don't experience much recoil, 'cos i add weights to my rifle (which by then will weight about 4kg plus, i think) and i have fixed posture and position for placing of my weapon on my hip (suppose to be waist area, but i don't have a waist and waist too high for me). the less recoil you experience, the more stable your shooting is, and the more bull's eye you get.
skeed.... ya, the flying thingy
moving target is more about timing. you have to know the speed of your shots, approx. how long you need for it to hit a target. then you need to observe the movement of the targets, so that when you shoot, you won't hit the wrong target. |

cool eh. SSG69 australia standard issued sniper rifle.
body positioning is important for air rifle. not real rifle.
pron-ing postition is the best way. ( got a bipod even more steady la! )
fat people can control real rifle better cause the fats can absorb the recoil ( LOL )
im a air-rifle shooter as well. yishun safra.
shooting is fun *_*
attracted by it since i was 5years old.
i fired sar21 m16 in live rounds @ paya lebar camp
i fired gpmg
i cocked 9mm pistols , glock , mp5A2 , awpm
i played with army shotguns
