 Launch of ComCare Local Network in Jalan Besar to help needy
SINGAPORE: With the launch of the ComCare Local Network in Jalan Besar GRC, more help will be available for the needy.
Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts Dr Lee Boon Yang, who is also the MP for Jalan Besar GRC, said this network will focus on three specific areas — better quality of life for senior citizens; skills training to help low—income families become more self—reliant; and more employment opportunities for the unemployed.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong launched the network earlier this year for people living within the Central Singapore District.
