I'm deciding whether to go LASALLE College of the Arts or not.
Either that or I'll have to retake my 'O' levels. (Math and Science.)
Anyone has comments about the school?
Apparently it's under MOE Financial Assistance THUS I'm eligible for tuition grants, subsidies and can use CPF to pay for my school fees. http://www.lasalle.edu.sg/cgi-bin/We...a/page?pid=137 |

Depends on your interest actually. You still need 5 credits to go Lasalle, and there's interview to pass. It not like Lasalle is a lousy school which anyone can enter.Overall, is your interest, there's performance art, fine arts, and designs. what was your L1R4? did you went to appeal ? >,< | |

hey! I'm also thinking of going either NAFA of Lasalle but I don't really know how to make a portfolio lol~
Yea..fees are so expensive, I wanted to study designs but alot people says hard to get jobs in this field =(
But I still wanna study designs haha ;P So now work first hope not too old to study by then =x

I would like to ask....
Is it a MUST to have Grade 5 n Grade 6 for theory n practical, if you're going for music courses?
I don't have the relavent qualifications. =(

currently in lasalle. honestly even you are just have a N-level pass they will take you in provided with a satisfactory portfolio (i have got N-level classmates). my advise to all is to go poly unless you have true interest in the arts/design maybe you can consider lasalle. portfolio wise is easy, dont worry about that, if you fail english i heard the english test is even easier (pri sch standard?). im in design so not too sure bout music and fine arts.
those who cant make it to poly or dont wanna retake, no interest in arts/design should go ite (in my opinion ite is not the end if you work hard), 3.5gpa not hard to achieve in ite. then can go poly from there on which i think is better. if higher nitec even better just do 1yr and move on to poly, as good as tetake subj. | |

I guess the most important is your portfolio..not really your O level cert ;P
