Have been reading the postings and I must say this bowling forum is definitely been the most active bowling forum in Singapore. You gals and guys are really bowling up a storm here. Also so wonderful/surprise to hear that "free coaching" is available here. Have not been bowling and wondering whether I can join you for training/bowling ? Anyone can let me know there's any more ladies only bowling league available? I know Plaza Bowl or Classic Bowl at Jln Sutlan used to organise them but don't know where it's being held now. Thank you. |

SGC$: 39.28 Bank: 3,655.04 Total SGC$: 3,694.31               | Re: Ladies Leagues i want to ensure that all bowlers who are attending the training are serious in improving in their games and gaining the necessary expertise in bowling. if anyone's idea of coming to the trainings are just to fish some tips and then go away with them, furthermore with FREE as the icing on the cake, then i suggest you stay away. our coach has spent his effort and time devoting to this team, and we have witnessed people coming in and going away without the slightest sense of shame (like myself for example). what's more, these people are taking things for granted since it's not even hurting their own pockets. i hope that everyone who attends the training can be self-disciplined... you are an adult, so we don't want to treat you like kids... i hope you know what you're doing. if this is going to go on, we will not hesitate to impose coaching charges. only through this way will the serious bowlers remain, and the tardy bowlers leaving voluntarily. having said all these, i'm not pin-pointing at anyone... just a feeling i wanna share with everyone here. I was just very surprise to see that in this time and era there's actually someone, like Coach here, who is so generous with his time to conduct training lesson free of charge. Of course, I also believe it's only fair to him that we should take his training seriously and not deprive others. I used to be very passionate about bowling until parenthood's duty calls. I used to do what "Your posting of islandwide bowling tours" too! That's how crazy I was about bowling. The only bowling center I did not go is West Bowl and have not go there yet. Have taken note of the training sessions on Mon and Sat. Keep up the good work....looking forward to joining all of you soon. |
