Kyle XY Kyle XY is an American drama television series about Kyle, a boy who wakes up in the forest outside of Seattle, Washington with no memory of his life up until that point. The series follows Kyle as he tries to understand the mysteries of who he is, such as why he has no navel or why he has no memory of being a child.
The show premiered June 26, 2006 on the ABC Family network; episodes are also broadcast on ABC and available for download from the iTunes Store.[1]
After a 10-episode debut season on ABC Family during summer 2006, news reported a total of 23 new episodes were ordered for the second season, which started on June 11, 2007, with rebroadcasts on ABC beginning on June 15, 2007.[2] The second season has currently aired 10 episodes as of Monday, 13 August, and according to episode teasers, only 3 remain until the finale. It is assumed that a mid-season break will occur after the 3 September airing of "Leap of Faith" (finale). It is still unknown when the final 10 episodes will air (either this fall or winter) and if they will still be considered to be part of season 2 or if they will become season 3. Though it is likely the remaining 10 will not air until the winter as the cast/crew must still film them, but Jean-Luc Bilodeau (Josh Trager) has said in an interview that they are "finishing filming in October". Kyle XY is due to start its second season in the UK on September 3rd, 2007. |
