"Karas" is the coolest anime ever!!! But don't buy it. I bought it and regretted it. The subs suck so bad, I can't believe it's even English.
Get the fansubs. Use secure sources or watch it online.
Anyway, no one in the right mind can say it's not cool after seeing it's screenshots (yes, these are actual screenshots, not promo pictures):



In fact, I think it's so cool that I watched it over 10 times. (so many times I lost count)

Ok, apart from my constant ravings that it's damn cool, I gotta say, you can just see the tremendous effort put in by the producers. The visuals are simply stunning. You can see that lots of effort is put into every detail easily. There are scribblings on the walls; there are many people in the bustling city (it's not easy to draw many people in anime, that's why we always get the impression that Japan has dead cities); there are random decorative ornaments in many settings; the spiritual realm has a unique artistic look. All of these go into making the anime look super realistic. (The team took many years to make this anime. This isn't just an anime. It's a work of art! I'd love to donate to the team directly, instead of buying the gay vcds)

Now, the story:
They did put a lot of effort into the story. That's why you won't understand it so easily:disgust2:
If you understand it fully after watching just once, you're a super genius.
If you understand it fully after watching twice, you're smart.
If you understand it fully after watching thrice, you're me XD
But don't let that put you off. It's actually very fun to re-watch as there's always something new u'll discover, something u didnt notice before...There are only 4 episodes released atm so it won't take too long. lolz
