Super Mario Galaxy (US) depending on which firmware u are using may have different effects
3.0J -- May have extra channel, or cannot play at all
3.1J -- Cannot play at all
3.2J -- Cannot play at all or u need to modify the ISO file

Unless you can get hold of the Super Mario Galaxy which the "vendor" had already modified the ISO file, you have to bear with the JAP version.

Hi all,

I recently purchased a second-hand 3.2J Wii with Wiikey 1.9s, and have a couple of quick questions:

1) Does anyone know whether my console will be able to load and play an original NTSC-U copy of Mario Kart Wii directly, without using Freeloader? I don't use downloaded/backup games, so the solutions involving ISO patches (e.g. brick blocker) do not apply to my situation.

2) To play the NTSC-U version of SSBB, I understand that I'll first need to apply some updates using the Japanese version, after which I should be able to play the NTSC-U version fine. Is this correct? Will there be any problems with using an original NTSC-U disc, instead of the backups floating around the net?

Will appreciate some clarification before I plonk down my hard-earned cash for these game titles. Thanks a lot in advance!
