i agree with toufeyk.... personally, i like the show too, though i wont give it a 5 stars rating. motion sickness and vomiting are the norms for me..... but the show wasnt THAT bad la..... cos i didnt vomit .... hehe.... think all the jerking of the camera is deliberate... cos its filmed when the person is running.... so confirm jerk ma....anywayz, the show got no head no tail, cos its deliberate too.... the whole show is meant to be filmed by a witness of the scene..... so when the monster came, they didnt pretty much expect it too... and when the show just ended abruptly, it was probably the best way to end everything cos the person who is shooting the scene died... the show will be neverending if there had been another person coming along and picking up the camera and continue the shooting......

personal comments though, no offence to anti-cloverfield ppl.

To accomplish great things we must not only act but also dream, not only plan but also believe.

90 minutes of the movie and STILL didn't show the monster's face? Wow thats totally a waste indeed ..

So the movie was caught by a person recording a video camera or something?

you guys should do some research before heading to the cinema
Coverfield was suppose to be "video" using handheld -.-

i think its very realistic. I love the part where there is a sudden blackout. cool!
it make me feel that I am part of them too.
Heard that after the credits shown. there wil be an explanation/conclusion on what is the monster.
- its was a monster invasion, it dropped from the sky.

Anyway, I dun like the ending.
noted its not for people who hates shaking camera movie lolx ><

everyone is telling me not to watch this movie due to motion sickness and the story plot. I was thinking of watching this movie actually, but I guess I will skip this.

the monster will be revealed towards the end. just be patient. ((:

yep, the whole movie was recorded on a video camera. it was much more like it was documented. it was based on a personal experience. but still, i pretty much enjoyed it.

and yeah, at the ending, just be sure to watch the sea closely. ((:

it lacks structure and narration - something that everyone has gotten used to so when a movie suddenly don't have it.. it just seems weird..

wat structure r u toking bout? structure of the plot..? if they don't haf a structure, it won't even be on the big screen...

and narration...most movies dun use narration nowadays anymore...some still do cos the story requires it...

i believe the problem has to do wif the constant 'unsteadiness' of the cam as a result of the need to portray something very 'real'. and probably also that we are so used to seeing awesome movies...that stuffs like tat..once (blair witch) is enuff. =)

i didnt realli enjoy the movie too btw. it was leaps n bounds better than blair witch, but still, i simply can't enjoy a movie wen the screen is trembling half the time. =)
