STOMPer Fruits Chinpo Samurai says the original character design of these ITE ads belongs to Square Enix, a very well-known Japanese video game company.
"So much for improving your reputation, ITE," she comments.
"Seems to me that Singapore will be forever plagued by unoriginality. Oh, joy," she adds.

slight modification, change of skin tone, hair... don't they know that even as a school project, no one is supposed to 'copy' the originals? this is violating Square Enix's copyrights...
