But if one is earning a starkly lower pay or not working, then the other party might automatically want to treat the former.. Tho have to be done in moderation lah...
(I had an ex in my poly days, who kept depending on me for treats, when I don't even come from a well-to-do family nor earn any income, except from tuitioning ppl) Those who say they care really don't. Because those who do, don't need words to justify their actions.

As for meals, if we eat at restaurants, he paid. If we eat at food court or coffee shop, I paid cos he not cash-rich but card-rich.. always dun carry cash with him .
As for finance planning, too early to think about it no. Wait for after marriage bah. |

As for myself, I pay most of the time, makan, movies, entertainment, holidays. My gf shares the costs by paying for these things sometimes, and by driving her car (petrol and parking) half the time when we go out cuz I'm lazy. |

Some gals preferred guys to pay for everything. But some gals preferred to go dutch. Some preferred taking turns to pay for each treat/meal.
For me, normally I would pay, unless my gal says she's paying today. But if we're to go to a restaurant instead of foodcourt, normally would take turns to pay. |
