hi guys..this thing actually dun involve me in it..but it my colleagues..so i am juz asking juz in case second incident happen again..and i know hw to prepare if there a need..

this is wad happen..i am wrking in a wine shop..there was this missing bottle of wine that cost $980 when missing one day..most probably gt steal by customer..after several check and interview e staff tat are in the shop..now e company is like asking all the staff to paid e amount of tat bottle..as in share among..

my qns is..

is it right for the company to do tat? as the shop have no cctv due to e boss wan save cost..

if we are force to paid..can we still discuss this matter with M.O.M?

wine have many price mah..depend on e vintage of e wine..if tat year they harvest is gd..this wine cna raise it price very high..tat is y it so ex lo..

i feel unfair for the staff..juz imagine bcos u wan to save cost..item lost..u blame on staff..den wan staff pay..would u pay for sth tat u had nv drink b4? >.<

think you look at the agreement when you sign when you came to work that day.

Think the logic is same as the bank and those work as cashiers. After the shop or bank is closed, the tellers and cashiers will calculate their how much they have. If lose 50 bucks or wat, they need to deduct from their salary. Think is the best logic. Is your job to look after the shop, during your care, you lose a product. you need to pay for it. If everytime, anything is lose, den all paid by the boss. think boss can close shop soon. If there is a scenario, the staff can go ask his friend to steal, and he treats he never c them. like that how? Still boss pay?

sparcO say his company no cctv, den mayb boss not in. den ask fren for help. or a customer come in to buy a cheap one, den put a ex one into his bed. but i think those ex one which will put in locker or wat. like they sell vodka or abalone in ntuc, sheng shiong. hahaha

tat e problem..they leave this whole shop too open..customer can juz out in bag n go de..den sometime onli one person open shop...den no cctv..how..if everyday olso lose..pay meh..den i rather quit lo..realli..it very sux this way

i think quite fair ba, 'cos it's the staff's responsibility to take care of the wine bottles? 'cos your company is sell wine de, so noticing all these is your (as in, individual staff) job... unless it's like the wine is your boss's personal de, then ask you all to pay is not fair...

wahh ..then how about the boss got abit drunk then open company wine and drink..after he sobber blame the staff lost the wine how ?or the boss steal the wine himself to make the staff pay ?

i reall think staff are nt to be blame lo..boss wan save money dun wan install cctv..tat wad happen lo..u know they can strike it anytime,.4 ppl come in shop..1 staff..die le lo..den wad..pay again?!
