Character will alway be the predominant factor when it comes to making choices, like let's say, choosing a life partner... It will not be beauty. Beauty is skin-deep and it will not last for a lifetime... no matter how many botox one can go for.
I reckon that there will be many arguments among the forumers about those beauty pageants. Being a finalist in a few pageants (and winning some awards and titles along the way), I came across female individuals with the beauty and brains, as well as knowing how to carry themselves well. It is inevitable that there will be some ladies who aren't quite smart on the IQ side, you can't really call them bimbos.
I remembered all the critics about those beauty pageants telecasted on national TV on the blunders that those finalists made. Believe me, once you are up there on stage with the determination and hope to win, you will get nervous. *wink* :mellow3:
Remember, before anyone of you guys and gals criticise the contestants, just look at yourself in the mirror and see whether you even possess the physical and inner attributes to participate in such contests. It takes much courage, especially since there are many critical people around.
