My investment plans are all in the stock market. hope this ans ur question. for i leave my investment plan to the professional by investing in UT.
no time, do research n monitor of the markets.
i hv a more risky plan, where i go for equities n forex, this was bought quite a long way back.
another one, which is a safer plan - bonds n fixed income plan...
so far both are earning some paper's profit....

I started investing in Unit Trusts in year 2003 after being persuaded by my FA. Later I invest in UT through Fundsupermart and Dollardex on my own. Just started buying stocks recently. Hope to achieve at least an average annual return of 12% through my investments. :biggrin4:

I started my portfolio with stocks (I don't really bother with the UTs in my ILP). The past few months have seen my portfolio move towards precious metals as I keep accumulating gold and silver, leaving my stocks at status quo.

Currently, I'm over 40% in gold and silver.

Gold did a huge jump yesterday, crossing the US$800/oz mark. You may not want to jump on the bandwagon so hastily, but meanwhile you should read up on the subject matter.
