Heard that post April, minimum we need 20K and above in CPF before we can use the money for investment. And the minimum investment into any ILP seems to be 5K.
Btw, can we trust AIA/Pru so-called group of stock gurus to manage our CPF for us?
New to investment and stuff. |

They do have CFAs etc to pick the stocks/bonds etc for the particular fund. Other than that, it boilds down to the financial planner himself if he can recommend the right funds to invest in. Leo~

with all due respect, i dun think the rebatin act s something to boast about...
it reveals tat the standard of the adviser to an extent of closin the sales....
btw, dun jux look at companies or products alone,
there r actually not important at all....
the few important thing s know wat u 1 2 achieve in the investment processes....
how ur investment portfolio s crafted....
n how the adviser works it out 4 u....
eg. if the company s good but the adviser sux big time, i think ur inv will not b able to reach its desired potential.... |

High Risk = High Return/ Low Risk = Low Returns vice versa
How to profit?
Ans = Buy Low Sell High ( works in all markets)
Issues about Fundamental analysis/Technical analysis just add spices to the "investment" mix.
My concern is lot of us..are "investing" without financial KNOWLEDGE...and I think it is foolish to consider any "investment" product/tools/programs out there if the basics of a strong financial foundation is not set up first. Simply..dont have $$ to burnt dont "invest"..$$ you "invest" are $$ you are prepared to lose. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Buy low and sell high after maturity due to high demand and low supply... that why returns are historically 8-12% per annum. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Money is everything

New to investment and stuff. | | | | | Investments - short term, medium term, or long term?
if u r in2 short term ... likely d risks r hi ... more like speculation ... u really need 2 do u research on d mkt ... n plenty of luck in that things happen d way u 1 it 2 b
if u r in2 long term ... regular investment regardless of mkt volatility is impt ... e.g. $10k every 3 mths ... its termed dollar averaging ... if wat u invest in has strong financial foundations ... getting an annualised rtn of 6-8% shd not b a prob |
