I believe in investing in myself in terms of knowledge. I buy a good book every now and then.

Clothes and practical accessories, maybe..but gadgets, I don't think so. You can't chase technology and it doesn't yield any profits either.

yup.. e average inflation rate over e last 20 years is ard 3%. so thats y most ppl now are investing in unit trusts or at least in savings plan instead of putting their hard earned money in banks' regular accounts.

I am currently still underage..20 years old but turning 21 in a few days time!

After which, I think I will start off with Tbills first, den followed by Unit trusts.
Been reading alot these past few months.

Shares and stocks would probably some time after... Seems complex..I am still reading and learning TA and FA now.

CPF would probably go into Unit Trust (probably GrowthPath series)

Currently holding on to an ILP from AIA, Achiever plan. Intend to reduce the premium from 200 to 100/mth.

I recommand Rich dad & Poor dad series, although is a bit outdated, it is worth to read. I invested in stock and share after i read, it is quite fun. Of cause right now still paying some tuition fee, but one day i will get back all......

Not the whole series are good. In fact, I would say only consider the Rich Dad Poor Dad and Cashflow Quadrant. The rest can ignore and dun waste your money.

Hi,myself at first try out the IPO and once it start trading just sell away sure profit when time is good.But not easy to get it,need some luck.
As time goes try to save money and when market(share price)is down,try to buy good share and wait for the rebound.I am not a expert but this the way it help me to grow my fortune.
