Inuyasha Cosplay Team for Cosfest 2008 - Singapore's Online Community

Hi guys and gals, I'm opening up recruitment for an Inuyasha Cosfest 2008 Team. Details are as follows. If you're interested, do PM me or email me at arrowhip@hotmail.com. ^_^

This team will be attending the first day of cosfest on 5th July 2008. Photoshoot will be on 14 June, Saturday.

Before I go into the characters that interested parties may choose from, here is the story in brief (referenced and slightly edited for length from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inuyasha):

"InuYasha (犬夜叉) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. The story centers around a time-traveling middle school student, a half-demon, a lecherous monk, a young fox demon, a demon slayer, and a nekomata during the Sengoku period who seek to find all the fragments of the Jewel of Four Souls (Shikon no Tama) and to keep them out of the hands of evil doers, especially Naraku."

Photoshoot will be in June. (exact date TBC)

Some things you should know before committing:

1) Please familiarise yourself with the story at least up to where the anime had stopped.
2) Once committed, no backing out. Unless you have a darn good reason.
3) Please ensure that your costume, props and appearance are at least 90% accurate.
4) Have fun! I should think that's the main purpose why we're all here right?

P/S: Since this is the first time I'm organising a cosplay team, I don't think the team will be entering any competition.

Ahem erm...one more thing to take note: please bring along a friend / helper on that day so he / she can help you look after your belongings. This is to ensure that everyone, regardless of whether they're cosplaying or not, gets to enjoy the event without being overloaded with bags. ^^

if ok we can meet as a group and get some practise.im free every monday.japanese garden will be great,nice scenery and quiet...and free entry.i got a good digital camera also...too bad my japanese friend tomo when to shanghai..for some work ,so cant join

@umarine: costume-wise, you can get it tailored. The props like the necklace you can get it from someone i know...provided she hasn't sold it yet...

i can speak some japanese.so any stuff you guys want in japan i can advice or order.i went to japan every year also.
but im new to cosplay,recommended by her

actually there isn't any need to get practice...you just have to be sure to get the character's expressions right...otherwise, on the day...we basically just walk around and mingle with the rest of the cosplayers.

&...given the small team...I don't think we're doing any dance item...=)

photography wise, we already have two...so you don't have to worry about that...=)

i plan order all from haru..maybe nextweek.hope there is time...my work really busy in real-life.
so need you guys help for advice and makeup.im only a good photographer and maybe a translater.

Actually there is someone on sg cafe selling Inuyasha costume, with the necklace too.Selling at $100. By the way, we'll have photoshoot in June, few weeks before the cosfest
