But of course at 35 yrs old, you will need to factor in mth housing costs, PUB, car costs, petrol, phone bills, broadband, etc. too many stuff to pay. Nobody would mind more salary Tokyo is a cool place to go & i want My Root Beer Float, Ice-cream Waffle, Curly Fries back! To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. Earning at 6k per month but not happy with colleagues, staff etc, I don't think I will want either... I rather than getting 2k per month, but enjoy being with colleague, staff etc...
Of course, to maintain a family, 2k is not enough... Perhaps earning min of 4k then will have enough to feed the family including kids...

But of course, I don't expect to make all the money from an employer. Probably have many more sources of income by then. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. It has always been and always be about how I manage my money..it is about cashflow...My concern is always about how much $$ I keep ..every dollar I earn..I save 5% min... With that...discipline..my family and I mange to own 3 properties including the one that we live in...we earn rental income..from the other two...we have a modest car..we travel at least twice a year...not meaning to brag or anything...but by managing our money..it allows us to have choices..
So am I happy with my $30k a year JOB...you bet I ..am not...coz it will never be enough but I make a choice..to stick with it...not because I need it..but because..I like it. | | | | |
brother. I salute you that by 30K , you can own 3 properties, 1 car and oversea twice a year. This is only possibile if 6 of you are earning. If you are a sole bread winner.... i seriously doub. cos 30K mean only 2.5K per month. |

Are the properties in singapore? What kind of property are you talking about? Did you buy all the properties from scratch? No help from the sale of another property?
All from saving a minimum of 5% a month. Let's double that and say 10%. It's still only a savings of $250 a month. |
