To date I've gotten 4 or 5 jobs from agencies and never had to pay a cent. I suppose it depends on the agencies you go to as well. I've heard of a couple that asks for a payment, and I've walked out of those immediately (and politely of course).

when go for any job interview pls ask carefull b4 u start work..like me my agen say i working as IT assistant, go the office say i replace some 1, end up i am replacing my senior so i taking a highter post.. If I were you i wont go recruit express.
They are just agents.
Plus they deduct lots of commission and leave you with 5 bucks or less.
What they say arnt usually what you get.
Was promised 7bucks but then whole day $45. Suan tao lai only $4.5 per hr.

But good thing is they buy insurance for you.
Recommended for part time workers but NEVER for those uncles looking for full time solution.

hmm try finding jobs on newspapers and internet ads instead. no point going to recruit agencies, especially if u are not happy with the interest rate that they are cutting frm you | |

Recruit Express sucks loh..went for the so-called 5 mins interview..travelled all the way there just to fill up some forms and asked the usual questions..what pissed me off was this gal who asked for my expected salary..when i quoted my expected amount, she was like.."huhh..can you lower your pay abit anot, it's too high.." thereafter no news from them..even if they called or sms me regarding new job offers, it was totally not relevant to what i've applied for..
subsquently went to QA med agency for interview, the manager was very friendly, patience and nice..the very next day, she called and told me there's a few job offers which are what i've applied for..so efficient~even i've requested for my expected pay, she said she'll try her best to negotiate for me..in the end, i got the job with the pay i've expected~~ so happy~~ RE sucks to the core~!! | |
