Study basic interior design before.

First of all, need to design your own style of handwriting, and must be neat, nice and presentable.

Then we study where we to place our furniture, design the house, and marker rendering different views of the house.

Furniture design is for more advanced learners.

One thing to take note is you got to ask yourself, you like to draw lines and using those rulers. Last time, I also want to major in interior design but in the end I choose multimedia design. Because I realised interior design like abit dry, need to draw lines here, lines there.

Is it hard? My friend say is very hard and all.
They have such thing in school but i didn't take it in o lvl =X

I study in NAFA. Not that hard, but need to measure. Calculate. Then draw to scale. Draw in different perspective views. I like marker rendering XD

Sigh no wor. My work either keep by NAFA, or thrown away by my mum already ><. Cos is quite big. Need to mount the drawing nicely on to a black mounting board and cover it with a white paper or tracing paper. Presentable is very important.

We have not taught of autocad, that is when you major in interior design.

Graduated already. :biggrin4: Super no life in NAFA. Ha ha.

I go search and see, if have, I post to let you see but most probably don't have already.

Always stay up late at night. Rush projects dateline. So scary. First year, still ok. Painting, ceramics, printmaking, airbrushing, basic interior and graphic design etc. Second and third year is the most scary. I major in multimedia design. When the dateline is near and if your computer spoilt, really can cry. I still can recall in my third year final project, my hard disk suddenly spoilt and I did not back up my work. That time is like end of the world. LOL. >< Rush to print artwork also another good experience. Ha ha.

i agree doing arts needa lotsa of time me use to study arts n did go for the entrance test for NAFA but ended up choosing SHATEC coz i worry dat i cannot cope wif the work >.<

btw now sec sch o lvl gt interior design liao??? i tot o lvl only basic arts

media design is learn wat 1? i like to be able to do things like anime, movie effects, web design n flash. but dont know which cse to go for.

also, hw come theres like no big companies in singapore that specialises in media? worried that even if go for the course, after grad also cannt find job.
