A sequel to THE INCREDIBLE HULK is set to hit the big screen in 2008, and it will stay closer to the classic TV series than its comic book origins. The movie will reference events which took place in ANG LEE's 2003 movie but ERIC BANA, who played the title character, will not return. Screenwriter ZAK PENN says, "It's definitely not a remake. We're not going to tell the origin story of the Hulk. I think the tone will shift. We all loved the action (in the first one), and I like a lot of the creature stuff and I liked the performances in the movie. "There's something about the tone of the TV show - there's something about the man on the run with a dark secret, Jekyll and Hyde, theme that we could do more with. There wasn't much of that in the Hulk movie."

I hope the new Hulk won't look so cartoonish. Hope they wont get Ang Lee to direct, maybe just get him to do the motion capturing for the Hulk...keke.

The new hulk design is out



Looks like another cgi hulk.

Part 1 got some nice trailers even though the actual movie sucks. There's one teaser trailer where Eric Bana looks into the mirror and turns into the Hulk. Then you see the wall of his house blow apart. Another trailer showing him swing and threw an army tank.

Going by the ending of the 1st Hulk movie,part 2 always appears to be on the cards.

Was hoping that Eric Bana will make a return to this movie. Never knew how good he was until I saw him in Troy and Blackhawk down.
