Thanks ginger for giving me something to think about over lunch today!

What makes someone beautiful :confused2:

Is it really in the eye of the beholder :confused2:

I think my children are beautiful.
That's because I love them so much.
Would everyone else think they're beautiful :confused2:
Probably not....

I think beauty has to inspire awe.
It's beyond words-
And it fills us with wonder....

I have seen men and women and have thought, god, they'e beautiful! - but without knowing a person, how can I really know if they're beautiful or not....except on the surface :confused2:

Real beauty - that's not just something on the outside.
Real beauty for me is generated from the inside.

So while I might think that a square jaw and blonde hair and big blue eyes are individually beautiful, for me, beauty is more than appearance. Beauty is the whole package....

Now I'm not talking about physical attraction here-I'm talking beauty and how you define it.

Beautiful is an ambiguous word. So I agree its in the eyes of the beholder. What may seem beautiful to me may look different in the eyes of others. I suppose that's what makes us all unique.
