We are worried about the health of the people who purchase food from these hawkers outside Woodlands Station.

These “illegal hawkers” have been setting up shop outside the MRT station for over three months now and the authorities have not done anything to them.

One could purchase packets of nasi lemak, crackers, curry puffs and fruits from these hawkers, we are worried that the food “may be contaminated since the hawkers didn’t gain the approval of the National Environment Agency.”

“With these hawkers, you are taking a risk when you buy from them. If something happens, say you get food poisoning, who is going to be responsible for that?”

However, the catching these hawkers will not be an easy task as “they appear only on certain days and at indefinite timings”.

*IMHO: I remember not only Woodlands Station, other stations also have such cases*

aiyoh~ everywhere oso have de~ especially bedok mrt station and bedok bus interchange~ i tink it is common lah cos they need fast cash and dun have to pay rental mah~ if kenna caught then suay lor~

Ya quite common nowadys espcially what aphx8o said, selling curry puff lor. I saw it at Hougang and Outram, bought it from them before, is okay, so far nothing.. lol touch wood. But is very nice leh, their curry puff, some more is cheap.
