easy songs like knocking on heavens door or qing tian has few chords and quite easy to play. higher lvled songs will require u to master from ur experience? i guess it depends on ur style as well, improvising and adding stuffs as u see fit. i hardly play guitars though. cant find my old acoustic anymore >.<

even though i dont play guitar, i highly doubt that 6 months is enough to master any musical instrument..

Depends on how long you practice each day. Also, fretting is much easier on an electric of course..

practice make perfect... play more.. i learnt for like 5-6 yrs.. i'm still learning.. and yet... i not into electric one.. but more to acoustic and classical

Cool! I've been guitaring for about 4 months to date. By the way, any tips when it comes to playing bar chords? It's relatively harder than most other chords that I've learnt so far. >.<

its very hard to master guitar within 6months. but for 6months u can learn alot of basic things like strumming, plucking etc.

to play a songs is very easy with those very common chords like qing tian, jie kou, and if u can play bar chords, u can play songs like qing fei de yi and lots more. and if u can go buy Capo, u can play songs like yu jian, yi qian nian yi hou etc.

so if u practice it everyday, within 6months u can play alot of songs already.

same! i love acoustic guiar! love the sound, esp and u slide the chords, very nice to play!

bar chord is quite hard, must keep practice till ur finger are kind of used to it. i practice abt 2-3 months till i can play bar chords.
