could be due to some misunderstanding
not everything needs to be generalised as office politics

In the office, I act 'blur', in order to get myself out of such situations. Just try to be friendly to your colleagues (I'm of the doctrine that it's hard to find frdship in the office, esp within the same team), and do get to know the going-ons, but don't dabble/get yourself involved in office politics.
Usually the interpersonal relationships and office politics are the ones that are harder to tackle than the work itself..hmm. my 2 cents' worth. Those who say they care really don't. Because those who do, don't need words to justify their actions.

Its possible that some actions/words you speak/do annoyed them... Or perhaps gossiping which is the most common reason in office politics.

so wat i always recommend is when the 1st day u go to work... try befriends those who are the popular ones... and once u gain their trust of approval, u r free to build ur own friendship with whoever u like... but all u need to do is just maintain normal greeting with those popular ones...
cos this way, ur chances of being boycott is cut to the minimum... To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater.
