Total SGC$: 1,221.57 | Hubby grabs her when she slips, but... SHE was apparently got into a drunken fight with her husband and, in a fit of anger, the 33-year-old African woman climbed over the balcony of her Malaysia home and threatened to jump.
But the threat turned real when she fell six storeys to her death.
According to the couple's maid, the African woman had climbed out of her balcony but slipped.
She told China Press that both she and the woman's husband grabbed the plump woman's arms.
But the woman was too heavy and they failed to pull her to safety.
After watching his wife fall to her death, the husband, also 33, fled the house, abandoning the maid and his 6-year-old son.
His whereabouts are unknown.
The police are now investigating the case to rule out foul play.
The incident happened at 6am yesterday at a condominium in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
According to Sin Chew Daily, the family had arrived in Malaysia two or three years ago as refugees from Libya.
The maid, a 52-year-old Indonesian, said that she was awoken that morning by the couple's loud quarrelling.
She told China Press: 'The husband and wife were drunk. They had a fierce quarrel, and the wife threatened to jump.'
Sin Chew Daily reported that the maid went to the living room, in an attempt to pacify both. She then went to the toilet.
HANGING OUTSIDE
When she came back out, she was shocked to see the woman hanging on the outer side of the ledge.
The husband shouted for her to help pull his wife to safety.
She said: 'Even though I rushed to help, she was too heavy. In the end, she fell down and died on the spot.'
A security guard said that nothing seemed amiss when he saw the couple return home at about 4am that morning. They had even greeted him.
But barely two hours later, he saw the woman fall to her death.
A neighbour said that at 9pm on the night before the incident, he saw the woman loitering downstairs.
She was talking on the phone and appeared agitated.
Friends of the dead woman rushed to the condominium after hearing the news.
Many were in tears and appeared devastated. A friend of the couple said that they always appeared loving and this came as a shock. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

to fall in love is always easy
to start a relationship is always simple
to build it, is always tough
to maintain it, is 'better said than done'
to break off, is 'easier said than done'
to remain friends after u broke off, is never possible
to forget the memories is 'always doing but never succeeding'
to heal the pain within is hard and tough and never near simple
but one has to try to heal your own heart...
