and i suggest you to get books from REDSPOT, their books are really good, you can try it, i dont use TYS i use the redspot guidbook instead LOL |

Practical test will also help if you have remember what they are also what give off what and use what to test what? In the event, do observed the others in a discreet way to see what are the others getting as well.
Physic must know the laws and the formulas and etc while chemistry is more like properties all those, i remember the chapters that are important are Metal, the reactivities series, the chemical formulas, the carbons, the acid and alkaine and etc. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. For Chemistry, you don't really have to memeorise much.
Important thing is really understanding the basic concepts and be good with your fundamentals sec 3 topics.
NeoShiHui post on the Abbreviation is a good way to memorise those little things u need in Chemistry.
If you help in Chemistry, do visit us at www.simplechemconcepts.com where you find:
1) Comprehensive discussion on tougher topics such as Mole Calculations, Acids & Bases, etc
2) Discussion on past years tough prelim and O Level questions
3) Share strategies of scoring in Chemistry
4) Tips on understanding some tough topics

Total SGC$: 40.00 | Re: How to do well in chemistry and physic for chemistry..you do need to understand the basic concepts of each chpters. others are just memory work, imo. if ur basic concepts are strong enough, i dont think it will be much of a prob la. since its just o lvl chem, for chem eqns, just die die memorise. =D
for physics...the concept wise is VERY VERY important. even if you just merely memorise the formula, you may not be able to answer those complicated questions. 50% concept, 50% memory work. in my opinion, the best way to memorise formulas is by understanding the definition of it FIRST.
at the end of the day, you will definitely need TYS to help u score. the more u practice, the more will you get exposed to more questions (esp those chim chim ones). |

1. Relate everything in life with science. ( Environment , etc )
Science is everywhere.
2. Remember some equation by looking at it frequently ( I.E , Posters on walls )
3. Try to change the things you cannot remember into a picture.
That is how i did my last min studies for O levels and passed my science . LOL . |

anyway TYS especially Redspot really helps.
Prelims D7. read the Redspot notes. O lvl A2 :3 To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

giving tuition, single and group tuition for chem.
for both a lvl(h1/2) and o lvl(sec 3-4) price is negotiable and depends on location, prefer east side
as an estimate, i am currently charging $40 an hour for chem sec 4, but its 1 to 1. groups are cheaper
have received A for both O lvl and A lvl
graduated with straight As for O and A level
pls contact me at waffles06@hotmail.com if interested
will provide more info
cheers |
