Total SGC$: 38.50 | how u guys exercise everyday? for me.. i train everyday at least
10-20 pushups
15-30 sit ups
and lifting 5kg of dumbell.
(i only have 1 dumbell so.. 10 or the right arm first then 10 or the left.)
jogging(i do this once a week and i dont noe my distance.)
sometime i skip a day cos too tired.(like muscle ache)
right now im trying smth new which is train at the morning and afternoon(wen i come home frm sch around 6+)
and is jogging a good way to exercise? becos i get tired fast and i skip weeks on jogging so should i try to jog more? or its ok to jog once in a while?
btw im those skinny type/:
and i wana train more!
so share how u guys train? |

100 crunches + 3 set of bridge 1 min
6kg dumbell lateral raise + front row, 12 x3 set
10 kg bicep curls + dips, 12 and 20 x3 set
running 2 to 3 times a week.
and i'm like wasting alot of time doing them =| sian |

anyway i would recommend you begin with basic exercises such as push ups and sit ups. as for the variations of pushups, you could probably find them in fitness books in libraries, which will describe better than i can in pictures. e.g. standard shoulder width push up, diamond, wide, spider..etc.
how many should you do? that really depends on your ability, but it definitely has to be over 6-8. every time you complete lets say, 10 push up, its considered 1 set. how many sets you wanna do depends on how intense you want your workout to be.
one tip to remember is to take it slow and do not expect results in like 1 month, 2 months.
and btw, remember that rest is important. rest = sleep of minimum 7-8 hours a day, for your worn muscles to regenerate. coupled with proper water and food intake, you should be alright..
this is the first step.. later as you move on you may read up or discover newer exercises that suit you better.. and there are definitely more to come as you progress. ask if you have questions, i know there are many people here experienced in physical training here.

Tuesday -- PE in school include running and own games like basketballs and soccer
Thursday -- School gym for around 30mins to 45mins
Sunday or Saturday -- 2hours of cycling..
occasionally i would do some push ups and chin ups
well.. exercising doesn't really help much if you don't eat right..
to stay healthy and strong, you gotta exercise and eat right..
o ya and a tip..
wide arm push ups - spread your arms wide and do
Diamond - put yours fingers together and form a diamond and do
Standard - Arms close and tight to your body and do
Scorpion - Arms close and tight to your body and one leg up in the air and do
Scorpion Knuckles - Arm close and tight to your body, fist clench and on leg up to do
Knuckles - Fist clench and do
One handed - balance and do with one hand
Alternate - Right hand and left leg up or vice versa and do ( this is a super tough one)
Commando - same like wide arm only thing is that you have to leap your body up and clap

i normally begin training when there is a napfa test coming soon or else cant be bother.. i still can remember last time 3 months before the actual napfa test, i used to exercise on alternate day meaning 1 day exercise, 1 day rest...
basically i only do around 20 push-ups and lifting 8kg of dumbell (20 on the right arm first then 20 on the left arm)... afterwhich rest awhile, then continue to do repetition for 5 or 6 sets..
which total up to around:
100-120 push-ups
and
lifting 8kg of dumbell (100-120 on the right arm then 100-120 on the left arm)
for jogging (i did this once/twice a week for the distance of 2.4km -3km) |
