Default How true is your resume??

I mean how many of you really state what you really are and never over state what you are in the resume. You are 100% percent honest and don over paint the picture??? Or how many percent of the person are you in the resume??

i dun see the reason to put fake facts in resume.
i will try to be true to myself, wat i achieve, my experience.
so no matter wat, at least to get 99% true.

Yes. Usually there is no need to fake the resume unless you copied from your friend and just change your name on the resume.

i always prefer to prove myself through actions, but when it comes to interviews and resumes, i like to give a impressive record.

but -1 i dont have too much to boast about
-2 i will tend to feel stressed when people are expecting my 100%
-3 i dont intend to give 100% unless i think its worth it
-4 therefore it leads to me giving 100% TRUE FACTS about 75% of my capabilities

the ability to dream is a great privilege. never give it up

I like you already. You are a natural to bend what the society thinks as a norm heh heh. Good job!

Edit: to the topic. Resume should be the full truth about yourself. However the words you chose really depends on you =) If you write like a novelist in your resume - to the point, detailed, engaging - even your boring day will sound beautiful, and your boring previous work experience will sound impressive.

I used to work in the HR dept of Singapore Police force and prepared resume for the guys... my own resume also followed the same format. Its more of what certs/courses/qualification you attend....everything else is appendix.

Why must lie in your resume? It should be 100% true of myself.

Sometimes its more of the arrangements of your resume that got you the interview.

HR probably would only glance through your resume and do speed-reading so what you write must be short and really straight to the point.

Everyone would want to write all the things that they do... but at the end of the day, its more like
1) Job title, company
2) Main Jobscope
3) Achievements.

Reading 200 resumes within a short period is a pain...

Do you know Love?

My resume is very simple. Nothing special.

Only put my achievement, education and working experience.

No lie, I swear.

faking in resume will only make matter worst when you're going for an interview. If you had stated something thats out from your jobscope, you'll be 'caught' when they start questioning your job skill, experiences.

While I don't think that outright lying on a resume is good, I think that sometimes a person may need to take a use "creative licence" to get noticed. E.g. even if what you do is really mundane, try to spruce it up in your description.

No lies too.
I don't see a need to.
It's all about the process of the conversation between you and the employer during the interview.
If you can't impress them with your resume, impress them doubly when they're interviewing you!
