What do u do when u want to save some $$ or u want to cut your expenses?

For me, I record my expenses even transport cost, I think its helpful. I will think twice before buying anything expensive.....

just save for 6 days and spend all the saving in the 6 days on the 7th day.

for me is i give myself $10 each day as pocket money (i m working liao). then from monday to friday working day, i spend max $6/7 , but usually is less than $5 . so for 5 days i will save ard $25, then on weekend both day i go myself $10 also. so in the weekend i have $45 to spent and i usually go out on 1 of the weekend only.:mellow3:

normally before i buy somethings, i will think about the money in my bank
and the risk of myself over spending and wad will happen
the tot will normally freak me out so much that if the things i wanna buy is not practical, i will just forget about it, haha

I don't always buy things as I have almost everything I need. So is that consider a saving? And even if I see something that I like and is on sales or cheaper than market rate, I'll think twice if I really need to buy it. If not, I'll just admire that thing and walk off. Hahaha. Must always think 1st before buying things. If the thing you buy is something that you don't need, that's wasting money.

Dont buy magazines, read it in bookstore. Quit smoking and unnecessary partying. Go shopping with a list of what u need and stick to it.

Once Defination of need and want is clear... you will start to save.... what do you think???

hm... will set aside a sum of money when pay day.. that's the money I wont touch at all... or so-called for saving... Will den list down those that I need and pay... and pay all those bills etc in that day itself... The left over will be divided out for my daily expenses... Of coz will 'hide' a note in my wallet itsef for emergency use... so normally after 27 on every month, my bank will be empty... =D

for me....too bad I smoke ..and also on 4d and toto.

but I never go clubbling already for many many yrs....cos it waste time and money .:biggrin4:


now weekdays after work just go home .
weekends if no program will be at home or walk around the neighbourhood.
if got program with frds mostly we just window shopping ..

than sit down drink coffee.. chit chat and go home simple as that :biggrin4:

I will calculate what I need to survive the month, and then transfer the rest to another bank account. And for any month, should I need extra money, I will generate it one way or another.
