anybody with experience on how to remove the spyware/trojan called Virus Heat ???
Really quite sian coz just got a new hard disk thought clean clean one...
Den get this sorta stuff while using net...
IT pros pls help.. I've searched online guides on how to remove it manually but i know nuts about registry so i dare not tamper with it... |

But you can try download spybot- search and destroy software at trusted websites. At least it helps as it contains a Resident protection on your pc and scans thru your entire system for malware to spybot, and rectify the problems while doing backups before they destroy any corrupted files. It also blocks malicious websites coming from unknown sources. | |

I do have an array of virus protection / spyware removers...
Spybot Search & Destroy, ad aware 2007, Norton 360 security 2007...
Spybot Search & Destroy detected & removed it... But the pop-ups are still there...
Norton worst.. Didn't even detect anything.. Even after doing the live update..
Have yet to try ad aware... | |

download spyware doctor & SuperAntiSpyware.
one of them works but not sure which or both.
edit: i'm not sure which one cause that time i tried both of them at the same time and clearing virus heat. so i don't know which work exactly.

lol...last time i get virus that seem to be attract to the registry files..
I just try my luck and delete those funny funny name files there...
lucky nothing happen after that and my problem seem to be solved too

i guess u should invest in a firewall as well.. so far have not had any problems. my AVG also not bad once they detect virus from a website got popup asking wat to do.. then they have daily updates.
