Your intuition told you that it is a joke or a prank.

Note : the story on this thread are not from Threadstarter, it is another person scenario who seek opinion from Threadstarter.

Nerd L signed up for a group course in the night. Nerd L every lesson in class was low-profile and can say only open mouth when it is to answer question regarding the course. Nerd L was tall, average with a eyes and smile that may look great.

One fine night, as usual Nerd L sat alone. One guy came and sat beside Nerd L. Nerd L ask the guy, can I help you?

The guy blurt out - there a girl who like you and want your number.
Nerd L stunned - no facial expression reply, ok. Then ask who is that girl.
The guy show Nerd L who is that girl.

So later you give that girl your number.

Nerd L - ok. (back to concentrate).

After course end, Nerd L approach the girl who is with another guy (they all are close as a group)

Erm.. Just now, is that a joke?

Ya...

oh good then... Nerd L walk off.

Nerd L ask the threadstarter on msn whether is that a prank.

TS said : Maybe. You should had just ask : you really want my number. Or just say, here mine number...

Nerd L ask whether is that rude.

TS said : yes you are rude and seem acting cool.

Nerd L : that is me. I don't really mind being friend. but ... shocking...

Now : what do you guys/girls think? Is that a prank. Or the girl are shy...

I think I am going to block his msn. :runnynose:

people girl lei, in our society, most of them till quite shy de ma.

i think it's nothing serious...
anyway, if it's a prank, then there's nothing you can do about it right? just shrug it off
and if it's true, then since she expressed her interest in you and got your number, she'll contact you

in the end, conclusion's the same, so just relax and you dun have to do anything extra...

Nerd L just update me that he managed to get her number instead and they are meeting up next week. Let wish Nerd L good luck, hopefully love will blossom.

Shows that L doesn't know how to read a girl. Anyway, he should not have react this way. He should at least like talk to the girl further maybe they might in the end link up together. I feel that giving each other a chance means no harm..so why not?
