eating before sleep, do it long term and it leads to heart problems, i assure you... please, dont do that.. if you have to take a supper, go take a slow walk or stroll before getting into bed. if stroll or walk is too difficult or wrong for the timing, at least read a book or something. just stay awake

haha, i am also one that eat alot yet can't get fat.

eat all i can, 4 meals a day or so havent + dessert and tibits -.-

how i wish to be above 60KG!

Bkfast: Eat nasi lemak, chicken rice, laksa
Drink 2 cups of milo
Lunch: Continue the above + cakes & desserts
Dinner: eat mcdonalds/kfc/long john, after that proceed to eat huge pieces of bak hwa & Huge bags of Lay's Potato Chips, also order sushi.
Supper: Maggi Mee (super spicy), pizza hut
Continue this for 1 month, then tell me if u gain weight or not

Tokyo is a cool place to go
& i want My Root Beer Float, Ice-cream Waffle, Curly Fries back!

I am here to give some great tips to you people. ;D
Don't listen to all those bullshit about eating supper then go slp. or eat alot of mac and rubbish food.they wont be successful. even if they are. by the time u reach the weight u want u already increase ur percentage of getting heart attack by 30 %! LOL. okies.. lets get to the point
in order to gain weight. u have to eat calories than wat ur body wants. i tink everyone noe this. carbo is for energy, protein is for repair mucles, fats is for needs.
mostly people who wan to gain weight will eat in this kind of proportion.
70 % carbo 20% protein 10 % fats. everyone suit for different proportion.

lets get str8 into the meals. for those who have really high metabolism. (which means u are skinny and nv get fat at all). having more frequency of light meals will solve all ur problems. which means one day u eat abt 6 meals of light ones compare to 3 heavy meals u always did. the reason for this is to get ur body working evry sec. and fill wif energy every hour.and wif light meals. ur body will absorb those nutrition better.
ok. here is one sample meal plan.

X_X Breakfast:
1 bowl of oatmeal.
1 egg , 5 egg whites.
4 pieces of wholemeal bread.
1 fruit.
1 cup of milk

X_X Snack:
1 serving of cereal
1 cup of milk
1 fruit

X_X Lunch:
1 banana
2 slices of bread with chicken breasts and veg

X_X Snacks:
4 slices of wholemeal bread
1 meal replacement shake
1 fruit

X_X dinner:
pasta with chicken breasts
1 fruit

X_X pre-workout:
1 cup of milk
1 banana
1 cup of juice

X_X post-workout:
protein shake

Notice that there is a work out session?
there is no point abt eating so much and not doin any exercise.
exercise in gym or any other type will damage ur mucles.. and protein that u eat in the day will repair them in the nite.... thus help u to put up more muscles... the more weight u train wif.. the bigger ur muscles will grow... get the pattern ?
1st of all, it is about perservance.. it will be rather tough to eat so much at 1st... but do tell urself.. to enjoy the food.. they are food afterall.. tell urself.. that if u eat them.. u will better make urself bigger.. and fitter.. and... of cos.... more gals comes to u

anyways... people will be asking abt supplement... alot ppl tot that getting supplement in their body will get them growing... u are wrong!

Go to the gym to train. No need to eat beef everyday, but you need protein if you want to get muscles. Eat lean meat like chicken. Lol.

I got another question..
I eat cereal and milk at night, wait 2 hours, then do abit (really abit only, to work my muscles) of workout before sleep..
Will it help in muscle growth?

me also same problem with u. 175cm, 55kg, checked my BMI was 18. :x

i go jogging 3X a week,

my diet for ystd-

breakfast: 1 slice coffee swiss roll + milo
tea: 2 cinnamon buns
lunch: mixed veg rice, iced milo
tea: two biscuits
dinner: random. rice, veg, meat, soup
supper: 1 hot dog roll, milk

if only the number on the scale is your concern, do some weight lifting? you will look and feel healthier, and at the same time weight heavier. but of course, you need to look for good pts

eat a bit more carbs and you can play basketball. Because of all the jumping and stretching that is done the body adapts to grow for it unless of course you are genetically small. XD

Personally i like this article, which provided alot of practical tips for those who wants to gain weight. the pictures doesn't show a actual case through.

the first step have already been mentioned in this thread - eat more - eating 6x meals is a good advise, but this article have provided tips to track your calories, why? u ask.

this does help in ur knowing what food contain more calories and which one u should eat more of in each day. this point in turn covers step 2 and step 3 in the article. calories dense food and balance ur daily diet with recommended 2 servings of vegetables and fruits. once u have started with this step, u can move into strength training, which is to help you build more muscles. (psss: for those who dun go gym, can train pushups, chinups, in turn prepare u for NS!)

post workout, focus on eating potein dense food to help u build muscle and recover from the workout.

all in all, this article seems to apply to guys in mind. til that i find a article more for unisex i will post them here!

its so great to find that special one you want to annoy for the rest of your lifetime.
