the psp reads movie files in mp4 format. download a video converter... a lot of freewares around. they'll have the psp format option (as this will convert to mp4 and re-size for the psp screen)

hmm how do i put movies into my psp and make it able to work?
just put it in the .mp4 way or must i make it iso?
which folder do i put it in?

You just need to convert it to .mp4 then put into ur Videos folder.
If you dun have a video folder just create one at the main called VIDEO
that's how i did it. ^^

1. Make sure the movie files are in MP4 format for PSP
2. You need to convert using any video converter to PSP format
3. Put the video files with title to Video folder you see(not in the ISO Video folder)
4. You also can put the video files to the MP_root folder but theres differents in video format that the PSP support
5. Yes you need to create the Video folder if dont have it

ok.. so, even tho the download file is mp4... it still need to b converted to psp format?

Yup.. handphone MP4 format is different from PSP MP4 format that is why PSP cant read

if you download from that site,
make sure you put the movie file at the Video folder if the movie has a title..
if not than put it in MP_root folder..(try one of the folder)
dont put it to ISO VIDEO folder.

yea it is possible just like ripping a game from UMD. It is easy if u got a 3.71 M33 and above cfw.
1. In ur xmb, just press select to open the vsh menu
2. scroll down to usb device and press right/left to browse around.
3. select "UMD Disc"
4. exit the vsh menu and go over to the settings area and connect to usb
5. Bingo! what is shown in the drive when u connect to computer is what is contained inside the umd
6. Good luck on that and rmb to send me some links of any movie/games u ripped.

Yes, though both are mp4 format, but there is a naming standard for PSP.

For PSP, it will require 2 files for each single mp4. 1 is a pic to display as an icon in PSP while the other is the actual file of mp4/movie. Without the icon file, you will not be able to choose to play the mp4 file.

That's why we need to download softwares to convert the movie files into PSP format.

tried placing in all the possible video folders with no luck... mayb bcos the.mp4 file is non-psp standard .. as wat bro stunner mentioned
