I mean it's really good for you. You have a target you want to aim, and work hard for it. Ain't easy but you are trying that's important.

Even though I'm not from ITE, but I have friends who come from ITE, and they work so hard. I really admire them.

Normally, 3.5 from Higer Nitec can go to poly, but on direct entry to year 2, it depends on the course itself.

For my course, SP DECC (Renamed DEC), 3.5 will allow you to go 2nd year, but you have to take some first year modules like programming (C++, CAD) etc, and exemption from certain 2nd year modules (I'm not very sure).

This is just an input, and based on what I see, but it's not a guide because afterall each course, each school got its policies.

ya, for me i score 3.6 for my higher nitec n if let say i apply for eee in sp, i can go direct 2second year. but i plan to take IT in TP. so haf to go first year. loves programming. your frens higher nitec graduate rite?? why they still need to take c++ n cad?? i thought they should have taken it during higher nitec?? cause my lecturer say if score A's n B's for all this module, can get module exemption.. during my higher nitec, i already taken c++ n cad, so if let say i do poly, i can get this two module exempted..

Yes you can buddy.

Because our course is deal with electronics, and their ITE didn't offer that when they took the electronics course, they told me.

Anyway 3.6 for GPA in ITE can get in poly don't worry. My friend GPA is 3.3 plus and she got into SP.

yup, ur cousin can go higher nitec after completing his nitec or if let say he score more than 3.5 he can go poly. then for higher nitec, must score at least 2.7 to apply for poly.. all e best for ur cousin

nitec --> higher nitec --> poly

or

nitec --> poly (gpa must score at least 3.5)

seems like there r alot of misconceptions here..i must stress that for ite studs getting a place into poly itself..it will only be easy for engineering courses and perhaps 1 or 2 mre like retail or such..courses like accountancy, buisness..still v hard..even a v gd gpa wont guarentee u a place..
